REFLECTION (TOKYO FIELD TRIP)

| Date : 6th February 2023 - 11st February 2023

During our study trip, we visited a variety of interesting locations. On the first day, we went to the Sensoji Temple, which is near our hotels. We walked there, and when we arrived, we were briefed that we had all day to collect all of the data for our project. After that, we went to see the Tokyo Sky Tree, which is the tallest building in Japan, to get a better view of the city. It's a lovely view. After that, we went to the mall at the bottom (Tokyo Solamachi). We separated into groups. We begin to look for and photograph our chosen topic.

We went to TeamLab Planets Tokyo on day 2, taking the train there in the morning. The contents of TeamLab Planets were separated into 2 areas which are the water area and the garden area, they were very interesting, but I most enjoyed my favourite part was the water area.  Aside from that, the other attractions inside were both beautiful and exciting. Following that, we had the day to ourselves and went to gather more information about our topic at Diver City Plaza.

On the third day, we visited TokyoMidtown for a visit to 21-21 Design Sight and the Mori Art Museum. On this day, we can see people from the past as well as the structures they are building. At the Mori Art Museum, we can see Japanese people's art and the unique creations they have made. There is so much artwork that I adore, and it has greatly influenced my design aesthetic. For me, the artwork is one-of-a-kind and unforgettable. After the visits, we will begin data collection.

On day 5, we decided to venture outside of Tokyo to Yokohama to experience the Cup Noodle Museum, where we could customize our own cup noodles. We have a long journey on the train because there are beautiful surroundings and views. When we visited the museum, we saw how design and packaging have evolved with technology and time. Following that, we proceeded to customize our Maggie cup by drawing our own design on the Maggie cup and passing it to the customizer/worker to select our soup base and desired ingredients. Then we're ready to take our Maggie cup.

On the final day of the trip, Day 6, we returned to Asakusa to buy souvenirs and to try some famous desserts there. After that, we went to Shinjuku, which is special ward in Tokyo
We did street exploration there, it is very c
crowds, and many restaurants, and bars typical of trendy Tokyo can be found there just near the Shinjuku Station.

Some of the city's highest tall buildings, government offices, and hotels can be found on the west side too.
We also went to Harajuku which is Tokyo's capital of kawaii. We did street exploration in Harajuku too,  It attracts many cosplayers and cool-stuff vendors. There is a unique style, street food, and impressive streets and alleys. After that, we returned to the hotel to pack our belongings before flying back to KLIA via Tokyo Haneda Airport.
