REFLECTION

| Experiences

I made my first Telegram stickers, learned Adobe In Design and Font lab, and designed a complete typeface. All of everything I learned in semester 1 and carried into semester 2. When doing the tasks, It was difficult to come up with new ideas and had spent a lot of nights without sleep. Overall, I felt that I grew technically during all the tasks and that my vocabulary was improved, as well as that I learned a lot of English from Mr. Vinod :D.

| Observation

I think the most important thing when doing a font design is Consistent. A well-designed font will have characteristics that are consistent throughout the font set. This means that the letter widths should be consistent in order to avoid some letters being overly wide and others being too thin and it is also applied to the height of the letters.  I believe this will help me get more experience and pay more attention to detail in each design.Typography is useful art, it is the art of arranging letters and text in a way that makes it clear and comfortable when appealing to the reader. And it involves font style, appearance, and structure. It aims to elicit certain emotions and convey specific messages.

| Findings

Typography is more than just the arrangement of letters; it is also a design that incorporates cultural themes, as in Task 1 while creating the wallpaper. Good typography also entails creating letters with a consistent design and readability. Typography has many rules and guidelines that we must follow, and brainstorming ideas might be a challenge at times. Because a tiny difference can directly effect the entire outcome.
